OLOE is a function-first drink, which means the taste and texture experience is intentionally different to flavoured milk, liquid breakfast drinks, or anything else that's been on shelves and in fridges for decades.
It's coconut milk-based instead of dairy, low in sugar, and built around wholefood ingredients like jerusalem artichoke, flaxseed, and peas. It's thicker than most drinks by design - closer to a smoothie than a shake - because that density is what keeps you fuller for longer. The flavour is equally intentional, and both are a direct result of what's inside. This is not a flaw, it's the point.
For that reason, it's worth setting the right expectation before introducing it to your family - particularly with younger kids. OLOE is not a milkshake or a flavoured milk, and framing it that way from the first sip will set the wrong expectation. It's real food in a drink.
Our sweet spot tends to be active kids aged 9 and above, and adults - people already comfortable with functional-style products. That said, OLOE is suitable for ages 3 and above. For younger kids, the taste and texture will be a genuinely new experience, and it can take a few consistent tries before it clicks - which is completely normal given how different it is to most drinks.
OLOE is not suitable for ages 0-12 months, and a full serving may be too nutrient-dense for children under 3.

For example, we tend to recommend 1 OLOE® Shake per day for kids Aged 8 and below, as this accounts for around 50% of their daily Protein, Fibre & Iron needs. The shake itself is designed to be nutrient-rich but not a meal replacement, so in terms of daily use, one would be ideal in this case.
As for adults, requirements would be different if comparing the average daily lifestyle versus highly active lifestyles of athletes etc. Therefore, we typically recommend 2 per day to help hit macro-nutrient targets, which may involve having one during breakfast time and/or another after a workout, where necessary. One OLOE® Shake still accounts for roughly 1/3 of the daily required Fibre and Iron for adults.

No, it does not. The natural OLOE®Shake is 12 months shelf stable (from the production date) and safe to drink even if it hasn’t been refrigerated. It should be stored in a cool, dry place to maintain its quality. However, like most drinks, it’s best enjoyed chilled! Once open, the OLOE®Shake does need to be refrigerated and will keep in the fridge for up to 48 hours.

This is based on independent stability testing conducted by Intertek, which helps us obtain the Best Before date that you see on the packaging.
